With 25 years of pastoral ministry experience, Jerry and Renee Ritskes bring a unique perspective on both the incredible blessings and inevitable challenges faced by married couples, pastors and their families. In each retreat session, they share their experience, lend their listening ears and extend their heartfelt compassion to participants. In their own words:

“Our own spiritual journey has been both exciting and challenging. We have grown so much through the ups and downs in life and ministry and have become convinced about how important it is for God’s children to trust completely in the unconditional love and grace of God.”

As a pastoral couple with four children, Jerry and Renee are well acquainted with the challenges of marriage, family and life in ministry. Their gifts of hospitality, compassion and teaching (along with a great sense of humour) provide a safe and open retreat experience.

Jerry is an ordained minister and graduate of Millar College of the Bible, Briercrest Bible College and the Canadian Theological Seminary.
